What I did for Big Green week

I hope you have been able to get involved with Big Green week. Here are some of the things I did this week.

On Monday I decided to do a litter pick on one of our beaches. We got a full bag of litter (mostly fishing line and nets) and a big wooden sheet but it was not as bad as it is sometimes which was nice.

On Tuesday I started making a presentation about trees and how important they are. This will go onto the website soon.

On Wednesday our green (environmental) Blue Peter badges arrived! We had a look to see what exciting places we could go to visit using our new badges.

On Thursday I baked cookies and cakes ready for Friday, when I had a stall selling these to raise money for world wildlife fund. We raised £32 which is more that I expected so I am really happy.

I hope you had a good Big Green week too!

Well done or your big green week efforts, I have been doing litter picking in the woods when I take Havana for a walk in the mornings, mainly cans and cardboard coffee cups x
