Big green week!

This week (18-26 September) is Big green week AND recycling week.

Both of these try to encourage people to be better for our environment so we think they are great. There are Big green week events and activities going on across the country which can all be found on their website https://greatbiggreenweek.com/

On top of our normal ways to help the environment, this week we are going to make and sell cakes and cookies to raise money for world wildlife fund.

Recycling week is really important to make people think more about recycling and not just putting rubbish in a bin where it ends up in landfill taking up space. We had a look to find out how long different items take to break down and some seemed crazy to us! So many of the things on the list can be recycled, which is so much better for everyone.

We are going to try really hard to make sure we recycle everything that we can.
