The idea of world animal day is to make people think about animals and to make the world a better place for animals. Different clubs and groups have events to celebrate world animal day. It helps to make people think about how animals are treated in different places. Some of the events include shelters having open days, vets giving out information about looking after animals better, information events about how animals are treated and about endangered animals, school events, and fund raising.

We think world animal day is a good idea. It is important that we treat animals well because animals are really important to all of us. Pets can make us feel happier, mini beasts are important to help the soil and help plants grow, and wild animals are important as parts of food chains and are needed to keep a balance between different things. We should treat animals like we want to be treated because they have feelings too.
