An easy way to help your local environment is to go litter picking. You can get litter pickers cheaply or just wear thick gloves. We have done lots of litter picks in our area and collected loads of bags of rubbish as well as a few shopping trolleys.
Picking up litter will make the environment nicer to look at and it will help animals.
